 Something for everyone The new Piedmont Family YMCA will allow the YMCA to dramatically expand the programs it can offer—teen programs, aquatics classes for all ages, after-school programs, wellness, adult recreation and much more. The core features of the new family YMCA include a large wellness center with state-of-the-art fitness equipment, an innovative gymnasium, family aquatic center, Child Watch room, locker rooms and multi-purpose space. The new facility will also house a large number of popular activities and wellness programs. The full vision for the new facility includes a competition/fitness pool, full child care center and additional multi-purpose space. The new YMCA facility will also play a role in community development by providing extensive resources for other non-profit organizations to hold meetings and service related activities.
