 YMCA DAY CAMPS
YMCA Summer and Holiday Camps offer children a safe, exciting, and memory-making day camp experience. Children have the opportunity to build self-confidence, independence, and creativity. At YMCA day camps, campers make friends while learning the values of diversity and cooperation. Best of all, you can be assured your kids are having fun in a friendly, caring, and safe environment.
Specialty Camps 2010!
There is no school, and the kids are home! What to do? We have the answer. Come to the Piedmont Family YMCA for an all day program on school holidays and teacher work days. Our fun-filled day includes group games, arts & crafts, literacy activities, character development, science & nature, team building etc… Camp runs from 7:00 am -5:30 pm, and will be held at the YMCA. Open for children ages 5-14.
****There must be at least 8 children registered for the camp to be held.

Summer Day Camp 2010!
YMCA Day Camp offers the opportunity for growth in spirit, mind, and body! With a wide variety of fun activities, we aim to emphasize fun, physcial learning, and social development. Kids participate in swimming, team sports, arts and crafts, drama, nature exploration, and much more! Most importantly, your child will be in a safe, friendly environment, in which the YMCA incorporates our four core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.

CAMP HOURS: Monday through Friday 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
EXTENDED HOURS: 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM (at no additional charge)

KinderCamp 2010!
The YMCA offers a tradional day camp for first time campers. Kids get to participate in arts and crafts, indoor/outdoor play, drama, science and nature, and much more! Guaranteed swimming and field trip/special events each week.
WHO: Children who are entering Kindergarten in the Fall of 2010

END DATE: August 20th, 2010

Counselor in-Training Program!
This camp is designed to teach enthusiastic young people leadership skills and teh fundamentals of working with children. C.I.T's are placed with a YMCA camp and paired with a counselor to develop skills in areas such as implementing daily camp activities, decision making, discipline, first aid, and child relations. Each participant will grow in the YMCA's character development as tehy work with the children and their peers. Great for college applications and resumes!
