YMCA DAY CAMPS

YMCA Summer and Holiday Camps offer children a safe, exciting, and memory-making day camp experience. Children have the opportunity to build self-confidence, independence, and creativity. At YMCA day camps, campers make friends while learning the values of diversity and cooperation. Best of all, you can be assured your kids are having fun in a friendly, caring, and safe environment.

Summer Day Camp 2010!
YMCA Day Camp offers the opportunity for growth in spirit, mind, and body! With a wide variety of fun activities, we aim to emphasize fun, physcial learning, and social development. Kids participate in swimming, team sports, arts and crafts, drama, nature exploration, and much more! Most importantly, your child will be in a safe, friendly environment, in which the YMCA incorporates our four core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.

WHO: Children ages 6-14
START DATE: June 21st, 2010
END DATE: August 13th, 2010
CAMP HOURS: Monday through Friday 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
EXTENDED HOURS: 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM (at no additional charge)
LOCATION: TBA
REGISTRATION FEE: $35 (for first child), $25 (for additional child)
CAMP COST:

$150.00/wk Full time 6 week program
$125.00/wk Part time 3 day week (Monday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Friday)
$110.00/wk Half Days (summer school participants)
$45.00 a day
$220.00/wk for Trip Camp (location is at the YMCA)

KinderCamp 2010!
The YMCA offers a tradional day camp for first time campers. Kids get to participate in arts and crafts, indoor/outdoor play, drama, science and nature, and much more! Guaranteed swimming and field trip/special events each week.

WHO: Children who are entering Kindergarten in the Fall of 2010
START DATE: June 21st, 2010
END DATE: August 20th, 2010
CAMP HOURS: Monday through Friday 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
EXTENDED HOURS: 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
LOCATION: Piedmont Family YMCA
REGISTRATION FEE: $35 (for first child) $25 (for additional child)
CAMP COST: $155 per week

Trip Camp 2010!

This camp is a unique way to catch up on any missed field trips! We will revisit the summer's hottest spots: Such as the Richmond Science Museum, SkateTown, The Taverns and many more.

WHO: children ages 6-14
START DATE: August 2nd, 2010
END DATE: August 13th, 2010
CAMP HOURS: Monday through Friday 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
EXTENDED HOURS: 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
REGISTRATION FEE: $35 (for first child), $25 (for additional)
CAMP COST:

$220/wk Full-time
$155/ Part-time 3-day week (Monday-Friday or Wednesday-Friday)

Scottsville Summer Day Camp 2010!

This camp is for people living in the following zip codes: 22937, 24590, 24562, 22969, or live in the Scottsville or Yancey School District. It will be for the week of August 9-13 and will be filled with fun activities and field trips! It is limited to the first 55 children who apply!
