Piedmont Family YMCA

AFTER-SCHOOL

As a leading nonprofit for youth development, the Y believes all kids deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve. In YMCA After-School programs, millions of youth are cultivating the values, skills, and relationships that lead to positive behaviors, better health and education achievement. Combining play with academics, our licensed After-School programs promote creativity, a love for learning, social and emotional development and character building while complementing lessons learned during the school day. We have well trained, professional staff and draw volunteers from the University of Virginia as well as community organizations.
