YILC

About YILC
YILC opened its doors Monday, December 17, 2012 at the Jefferson School City Center. Our newly-renovated space includes 5 classrooms, an indoor play area and an outdoor play area. The Y-programs that will be operating at the Jefferson School City Center are named the YMCA Intergenerational Learning Center (YILC) & Child Watch. YILC is the first YMCA program in the Commonwealth of Virginia to implement infant care in conjunction with intergenerational programming! Child Watch is evening child care. This program's development stems from an agreement with Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC).
