Zumba is a latin-inspired dace-fitness class incorporating Latin and International music and dance movements, to create a dynamic and effective fitness system. The class format combines fast and slow rhythms to tone and sculpt the body to achieve a unique blended balance of cardio and muscle-toning benefits. Dancers and non-dancers alike immediately and easily master Zumba! Zumba creates a party-like atmosphere providing a non-intimidating opportunity to participate in group exercise classes. It's fun! Men and women can enjoy a low-impact choreographed dance exercise class using a variety of music from Big Band Era to recent popular tunes. The program includes warm-up dances, stretching, a cardiovascular work out and cool down. Resistance work incorporating weights and exercise bands are designed to improve posture, balance, flexibility, and strength. The class is designed to keep participants active and fit with the added benefit of lowering blood pressure and cholesterol levels. Class participants may attend all three days or attend as many classes as desired. There are no limits! |
