YMCA is offering the following Red Cross
Adult/Child/Infant CPR/First Aid/AED Courses:

Adult CPR
Participants learn to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies.  Skills inludde checking a conscious and unconscious victim, clearing an obstructed airway, rescue breathing, and CPR on individuals 12 years of age and older.
Certification is valid for 1-year.

Adult CPR/AED
Participants learn to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies.  Skills include checking conscious and unconscious victim, clearing an obstructed airway, CPR, and using an automated external defibrilator (AED) on individuals 12 years of age and older.  Certification is valid for 1-year.

Child & Infant CPR
Participants learn to recognize and respond to emergency situations with children and infants.  Skills include performing rescue breathing, clearing an obstruced airway on a conscious and unconscious victim, and CPR.  This cource is recommended for childcare workers and individuals who care for children 11 years and younge.  Certification is valid for 1-year.

Basic First Aid
Participants learn to recognize and care for injuries and sudden illnesses.  Skills included are bandaging wounds, splinting limbs, caring for burns, diabetic emergencies, seizures and heat and cold related injuries.  Certification valid for 3-years.

Community First Aid and Safety
A comprehensive couse that combines the above listed Adult, Child & Infant CPR and Basic First Aid.  Adult/Child/Infant CPR valid for 1-year.  First Aid valid for 3-years.

**Advance registration is required.  We need at least 4-people to be enrolled in order to hold the class.
