CHEERLEADING:  Spring 2008

CHEERLEADING REGISTRATION FORM

WHO:
Girls and Boys Ages 3 -10 

WHAT:
Cheerleading offers the opportunity for kids to develop more self-reliance and self-confidence on an individual level while stressing the importance of teamwork within in the squad. Throughout this 5-week program, participants will be taught age-appropriate chants, cheers, and dance routines and experience the performance aspect of cheerleading as they cheer at YMCA Basketball games (Session 1) and YMCA Lacrosse games (Session 2)!

WHEN:
Saturdays, April 5 - May 3

TIMES:

You will receive your season schedule, t-shirt and pom-poms, and have the opportunity to purchase uniforms at the first practice, Saturday, January 26.

WHERE:
YMCA, 442 Westfield Road *detailed game schedule will be available at first practice.

COST:
Registration Fee-$55
Financial Assistance is available.

TO REGISTER:
Print out the following flyer/registration form and:
(1) mail it into the YMCA (442 Westfield Road, Charlottesville, VA  22901)
(2) fax it in (974-4651)
(3) bring it by the YMCA.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
Participation in all programs requres advance registration.
All programs have enrollment limits.  Space is limited, so register early.
The YMCA accepts Mastercard, VISA, and Discover Card.
YMCA programs are open to all opeople regardless of age, race, religion, gender, ability level, nation of origin, or financial circumstances.  Financial assistance is available.
The YMCA does not send out confirmations.  Once you register for a program, you are in that program unless you hear otherwise.
If a program you want is not offered, please contact the YMCA at 974-YMCA to let us know your interest.
