The Piedmont Family YMCA
is a charitable, non-profit Association, guided by the YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. We are dedicated to enriching the community through programs that assist the growth of individuals in spirit, mind and body. Led through a partnership of volunteers and professional staff,  the Piedmont Family YMCA is assisted by over 680 volunteers in providing programs to over 5,000 youth in our community (City of Charlottesville, Albemarle County and surrounding areas).  In 2006, our YMCA provided more than $215,000 in financial assistance to families who could not otherwise afford the full cost of our YMCA programs and services, such as licensed child care, summer camps, after school programs, youth sports and more.
